The Roomba Pro Elite is one of the original series of robotic vacuum models developed by the iRobot company. This model, as well as the Original Roomba Pro most of the same features that you see on many of the regular iRobot Roombas. But when you compare the current models available and their advanced cleaning features you will see that the Pro Elite was just a stepping stone to the top of the line Discovery, Discovery SE and the cream of the crop Scheduler. Reviews on Roomba Pro basically say it is a great investment for the person who doesn't necessarily need the top of the line model Scheduler or the basic Roomba Red model. For around $229.95 MSRP, it's not as expensive as the Discovery or Discovery SE, and it's not as inexpensive as the Roomba Red, but it's ideal for cleaning at the touch of a button. It even comes with a remote control so you can "spot clean" from your easy chair! Here are a few special features:

• "Max Clean" mode (cleans until it runs out of power)
• "Spot Clean" mode (focused cleaning in a 4' radius)
• Simply press a button to tell is the room size is small, medium or large and it adjusts its run time accordingly.
• Side brush thoroughly sweeps along walls, kitchen baseboards and other hard-to-reach corners.
• Rechargeable battery lasts up to 90 minutes per 12 hour charge.

The bottom line Roomba review on this model is that it works very well. While the newer models have definitely improved over the years, the Pro Elite floorvac still has very state of the art cleaning technology and will do the job so you don't have to.
