Roomba Discovery VacuumRoomba® Blowout Sale!
iRobot's flagship the Roomba Discovery vacuum is still going strong as one of the older model leaders in the Roomba vacuum fleet! In 2002, a company called iRobot quietly started the personal robotics revolution that fanatics of futuristic gizmos have been awaiting for so long. The first robotic floorvac cost just $199 and amazed consumers by doing everything from automatically vacuuming without running into obstacles to finding its own way home - just like ET did. Today the Discovery model and its sibling, the Roomba Discovery SE, has a lot more suction power with plenty of extra features. iRobot is constantly experimenting with new technology and electronics to make each new robotic vacuum better than the one that came before. Roomba 400/Discovery Series models include:
Miracles of modern electronicsAs iRobot's electronics technology becomes more and more sophisticated - look forward to the newest models in the Roomba 500 Series which are slated to be released in August 2007. The iRobot Roomba will take robotic vacuuming to a new level by offering dramatic improvements in navigation and floor coverage, edge and corner cleaning, brushes, filters and advanced anti-tangle technology. Thanks iRobot! Features of the 400/Discovery SeriesThe rotating movements of the brushes will sweep along the edges of the wall removing the dust and dirt that usually builds up in this area. The counter-clockwise motion of these floorvac brushes picks up all the dirt and dust on the floor. It is wonderful for picking up pet hairs and will get all the dust bunnies hiding under the beds. The electronics of the infrared light on the home base emits a signal that the Roomba searches for when the cleaning is done. Why bother with an upright or floorvac when a Roomba costs the same and does all the work for you? Check Out The Reviews Of The Roomba Discovery
