Remember Country décor… a rooster here, a bunny there?  There may even have been a giant pig standing upright in the corner wearing a dress.  Upon further investigation of the pig, you found there was an upright vacuum cleaner underneath.  A nice disguise for a vacuum cleaner, eh?  Decorate your vacuum cleaner?  Why not!  But let's take it a step further shall we?  If you are reading this consumer report about Roomba... chances are you've probably already gotten rid of your old upright vacuum and stepped right into the future with a Roomba vac.  Our Roomba robotic vacuum cleaners sit out in plain view, therefore, they may as well blend right in with the décor right?  iRobot has done it again.  You can decorate your Roomba or Scooba with irobotskins.  These vacuum cleaner disguises are the latest rage in home décor.

Roomba - A Zoom with a View

Those of us who would go so far as to purchase a cover or "skin" for their Roomba would likely buy something that matches the rest of the décor in their home: say, a woodland or ocean theme.  How about a floral pattern or soft ivory to match your carpet?  If you are a college student wouldn't it be cool to have your Roomba or the floor washing iRobot Scooba look like a giant human eyeball, a giant bug or better yet - a pizza!  It can be done with irobotskins. If you'd prefer to personalize your vacuum cleaner with a picture of a loved one or pet, you can do that too; all you have to do is upload the picture on the right web page and iRobot will take care of the rest. For a mere $19.95 (plus s&h) they'll create your personalized irobotskin and send it right out to you!

Gimme some skin

It's very easy to skin your robot. Your first task is to make sure the exterior of your Roomba or Scooba is clean and then dry.  Once it's dry you can apply the skin just like a any decal.  Simply peel off the appropriate sections and stick it on your robot.  Make sure you take care not to get the sticky side wet. Once you're done -- instant cool.

Hmmm "skinning" of this sort could actually become popular throughout the modern household, it could very well be the wave of the future when it comes to robotic appliances. Just think of it: small window-washing robots skinned to look like giant smiley faces, robotic lawnmowers that look like turtles, the possibilities are endless. Let your imagination run wild.
